The word discernment can sound super spiritual or it can be confusing. It is a spiritual gift but it is also something any Christian can practice and get better in. If our decisions align with the God’s Spirit in us and God’s Word (the Bible), we can make better decisions in every day life. This applies to both big and small decisions. We all know what the results of bad decisions can be and we will never make decisions perfectly but we can be strategic in how we approach them and pray to God for guidance before making them.
